More Details and Funny Things Kids Say

So, when Grant got home, I got ALL the details of losing his first tooth. He said that he was in Mrs. McDaniels class (the teacher next door to his classroom)~ on the rug, watching the movie "Care Bears". The kids were taking their DIEBELS test, so it was not the typical day. Grant said that it was a girl movie and he was bored, so he just kept wiggling his tooth-and it came right out. He told me that his tooth was "so flexible that he could turn it almost all the way around" so he knew it was coming out today. He said then, he showed all the kids in the room that his tooth was out. He was excited that there was a lot of kids to show it too. Lots of classes were combined together so that the teachers could do testing. It was a good day!
Now, funny things they say: Reagan is really into taking care of herself these days. She loves to accessorize herself in pink~ pink nail polish, pink hair bows, and pink clothes. She enjoys taking long baths, brushing her hair, and looking at herself in the mirror. So, when she has ANY form of scratch, hang-nail, or "BOO-BOO", she wants a band-aid on it immediately. But, in Reagan's world they are not called band-aids. She will rush in the room, hold up her injury, and say " Momma, I need a blanket for my finger." I LOVE IT! I hope everyone has a great week. Hug your family and tell them you love them as much as you can!

Grant lost his first tooth!!!!

Today at exactly 3:07pm, I received this picture from Scott. I almost CRIED! Yet another "first" has come and gone. My baby is growing up SO fast. The funny thing is..... his tooth wasn't really that loose. He got in a little trouble for talking yesterday, so Scott and I speculated that he kept his hand in his mouth all day to keep from running his mouth. GREAT EFFORT GRANT!!!! WE LOVE YOU !

Madeline and Mary Morgan

This week-end we went to Birmingham to visit family. We enjoyed the visit so much. I sure do wish Jeff, Alyssa, Joel, Allison, Madeline and Mary Morgan lived closer. There is nothing like family. These are pictures of Mary Morgan and Madeline. SOOOO Precious!

Trip to Atlanta

Over the break we went to Atlanta. The kids loved the aquarium. It was so much fun.

All Eyes On ME!!!

Grant has not taken the "backseat" to his little sister by any means. I worried when I had a second child that he may feel less important, mistreated, or like we treated Reagan better or different than we did him. Well, we don't worry about this anymore. Grant demands attention EVERYWHERE he goes. At the ballgame in Atlanta, he grabbed a cheerleader out of the parade to have his picture made with her, at Applebees he asked the hostess to put his picture that he colored on the "GOOD" wall- and she said "well, we will do better than that, we will just put yours on the tree all by itself, and then~when we passed some police officers when we were going into the ballgame, Well, the picture says it all. I love his little personality!
