Shopping with Reagan

This store would be acceptable to shop at by Reagan's standards!
Don't even THINK about going in a store with these!

And this~well, I'm with Reagan, so many body parts~why not a HEAD!!!!

Well, well, well....... My little princess has seriously been inhibiting my shopping lately. Now that Reagan is much more aware of her surrondings, she has a new found fear. Mannequins. Not all mannequins, just the headless ones. Numerous department stores are OFF LIMITS for this very reason. Belk, Dillards,Charlotte Russe, WetSeal, and the Limited are a few stores that are on our "Do Not Enter" list. She just shakes her little head and says "Uh-no, Uh-no"! And, she begins to crawl up my body like a cat in water! So, for all mothers or future mothers~make sure you are aware of the way these little rascals change your life. I guess I can take it as a blessing in disquise....it does save us money!!!!! I learn something new EVERY day!!!!!

INTRODUCING: "Aubie Doggie"

I think this is Aubie doggie's brother

No more pictures~PLEASE!!!!!

Hello Everyone~ Nice to meet you!

So, it's official. Our dogs name is "Aubie doggie". Here is the rundown~We tried out Ben 10(from the cartoon character), Chance, Finn, and Sam. Grant chose Aubie Doggie. I told him that Ben 10 would be good because he would probably live 10 days~so he changed it. Chance was the same thing~ I told him he did not stand a chance, so he tried something else out. I wanted "Sam" because it was from Scott And Mom~ of coarse Scott said "SAM, why not DAM-dad and mom, that's what we are going to end up saying anyway~ that D*** dog!" Isn't he hillarious! I do think Aubie doggie resembles a small white fluffy seal. He was tired of the photo shoot and he actually put his "hands" in front of his face. He is such a sweet little puppy!
Reagan looking so sweet at her Uncle Jeff!
Grant getting "air" when he saw his new dog!
Beautiful Girls!

"These are a few of my favorite things"

As I was reminding Grant of the love that God has for us, I was explaining how he knew everything about each one of his children. Grant's favorite thing now is " But what if....." He is having a hard time comprehending God's love. I do too sometimes. I can not even begin to imagine the fact that he gave his Son to die for us. I can relate now~ so much more~Having two children, and wanting NOTHING to ever happen to them, I can "sort-of" grasp the sacrifice God made for us.

With that said....after our discussion of the love God has for us, Grant was amazed when I used the example that God even knew how many hairs were on his head. He thought that was soooooo neat. Then, we got off subject~ so here it goes~

Grant wanted to know " Does God know this....." and the questions began. That is why I called this update on our blog " a few of my favorite things. These are some things that I have the privilege knowing about my little angels that most do not know. Grant, for example has a "Mr. Spock ear". He held it folded down while he was in my belly and now it is stuck like that! Reagan can make a perfect "O" with her lips when she drops something or gets surprised. Grant has a "whirl wind" cowlick right in the middle of his hair in front~NIGHTMARE! Reagan's teeth are coming in~in a random pattern. She looks like she is missing her partial. Like a little old lady that misplaced her dentures. Grant skips everywhere he goes. He doesn't even realize he does it/or that other people don't do it. But, who knew that he would develop extremely large calf muscles~ they are HUGE!!!!! Reagan holds her "pinkie" finger " just perfect" while eating her snacks. Both of my munchkins' are ticklish on the back of their neck on the right side. Grant calls it his "sweet spot". Reagan has such good manners. When she says "please" it comes out "uh-me" and she doesn't ever say it once, it is always "uh-me uh me". Grant can make his eyebrows a perfect upside down "V" when he gives you the "evil-eye". Reagan does have an attitude periodically. When she gets mad, she will take her hand and "fling" her hair from over her ear towards her face." This means you better watch out! Grant's birthmark is on the top of his left thigh. It is just a little brown smear that is shaped like a rectangle. Reagan has "crooked" pinkie toes. It really makes putting her cute little tights on a little more difficult. Grant can roll his tongue THREE times~like his mother!!! You will not see this on the blog in photos! Reagan is very animated with her bossiness! She uses her own sign language, but, it is "Universal" noone should have any difficulty understanding it! That is all he got from me. Well, I guess that is all for now. It is late. I will try to post pictures of all of these "little things". I'm sure I will think of more and add them later. I love my babies and all of the "LITTLE THINGS" they add to our family. Thank you God for letting me borrow these two angels and trusting me to care for them. It is an amazing blessing.

Merry Christmas!!!

"We wish you a Merry Christmas"! I love my new Christmas gifts. Scott and I did not buy each other any gifts this year. We are trying to stay on a budget. It is so hard. But, I did get to enjoy the gifts of happiness from my children's faces!!!! It was so fun! I love all of the expressions and sounds they make. Grant will give the occasional "Oh Yeah" while Reagan simply says OHHHH look~ see!!!!! So sweet. I will update with more pictures and details later. I hope you all are enjoying the holidays!
