The Horne Family: December 2012

So, every year we have a few things that we MUST do. Making the gingerbread house is one of these things. We could definitely use more practice. Once a year just isn't cutting it. We aren't real good at this tradition yet, but maybe with additional practice each year at Christmas, we will master this annual task. Until then, we will just immediately eat the house!!!!

Grant and Reagan were so excited that Santa was coming. They were so sweet making this together. Grant was so patient, even though Reagan CRUSHED the house numerous times trying to place the candy on the roof!!!

This picture is hillarious to me. Reagan was trying to stay up and see Santa. She gave it her best shot!!!!

Okay, so this picture isn't glamorous at all, but it is what it is. Reagan enjoyed hunting with the boys. She found a huge bone, she said it was a dinosaur bone, but judging from her surroundings, I would make a safe bet to say it was more like a cow bone. YUCK!!!! She doesn't mind getting dirty AT ALL, but she wants to do it in her tutu and tall boots. What a combination!!!

This is the FIRST time Grant shot a gun. He did pretty good. Scott loved having all of his boys with him.

This is the first day that Cameron shot a "BIG" gun too!!! He has shot his bee-bee gun plenty of times, but this was his first "big gun" shooting day. It was December 23, 2012

This is Grant's new pal "Hawk." He has a natural mow-hawk, so Grant felt that it was the only name that was even a possibility.

Reagan's new baby "Sadie." She got her name from the TV show "Duck Dynasty." Reagan is obsessed with this show. She has everyone act out the show, and Reagan gets to be Mrs. Kay!! Too Funny!!!

I love how Reagan just hopped up on the couch with Uncle Joel. She has such a funny personality. I love her eyes in the picture below. She is such a little mess.

Sadie was exhausted. We all laughed at how she hangs her tongue out of her mouth.

This picture is blurry, but it is the face that Grant made when he saw his new 4 wheeler!!!! No ELECTRONICS this year. We only got OUTSIDE TOYS from SANTA. I told Grant that no girl would ever ask him what level he completed on a video game, but she would want him to be able to change a flat tire if they were on a date. He just laughed at me. It is true though!!!

Grant said "Really?, Really?" when he opened up the gumball machine. He thought this was a baby gift. But, he has chewed EVERY piece of gum in that machine.
