Ballpark Babies

We run, run, run all week long!!!  We practice baseball EVERY DAY of the week, except Tuesday.  I am exhausted, and I only come along for the ride.  I can't imagine how exhausting it is to actually PLAY ball this much! Grant loves it though.  And, of coarse, Little Miss Priss loves all of the social time.  She is pictured here with Wes.  They get along so well.  She loved playing with his farm animals.  She is holding up a horse for everyone to see.  I hope everyone is having a great week.  And, be on the lookout for something that is TOTALLY surprising from ME!!!!!  Scott has 100% supported me with the development of my (our) new company.  He wants me to take full credit for it, but he has helped me tremendously.  I would not have had the nerve to do it without his support.   It is called Blackboard Communications, LLC.  It will shock you!!!! I'm just a little proud of myself. It is NOTHING to do with crafting, sewing, or homely things.  IT IS AMAZING!!!!!  We have had a lot of positive feedback from NUMEROUS prospective buyers.  Please pray that this company glorifies God, allows me to be a positive example of how Godly people should be, and offers the benefits to everyone that I have prayed so hard that it will.

Livin' the Crazy Life!!!!

Reagan in her pig-tails and of coarse, a "puffy skirt" that she thanks God for almost every time she says her prayers

Grant and his ugly little dog "Hawkie-Dawgie"  He loves this little rat.  And don't miss the "real deal" background details-  Scott is standing in his "frustration pose" as I take pictures that we don't have time for.  The dirty clothes, vacuum cord, and miscellaneous other items were strategically placed for visual affect.  Hope you all like that!!

I was trying to take a picture of the dress I made Reagan to send it to Jackie and Mom.  I told Reagan to stand still- and this is ALWAYS what I get from her.  Grant is featured in the traditional "photo bomber" sneak up attack pose.
The minute Reagan arrives home from school she gets naked!!!  The "scank -nasty wear" is on in no time.  She feels beautiful in these outfit creations.  We were trying to make healthy snacks to replace our traditional "not so healthy" afternoon snacks.  You may see why this has been made a priority in the following photos. God Love Her!!!

Reagan and Scott featured above with photo bomber Grant sneaking up in the back!!!!!! LOVE THAT BOY!!! Reagan is showing you her muscles!!

Reagan lacks no self confidence.  She may,  or may not have your approval~ she really doesn't care.
One of our families favorite activities~  Science experiments!! Scott is doing something that appears to be pretty interesting to these little ones.

Reagan and I had to go to work and school on President's Day, while Grant and Scott stayed home.  So, little sleepy head and I made a trip to Burger King to have breakfast together.  While we were eating, Reagan noticed a ceramic frog sitting by the beverage dispenser.  A lady was at the booth next to it.  Reagan pointed and told her "I see a big frog right beside your foot."  That lady almost jumped out of her skin.  Reagan DIED laughing~ We all did.  The little lady was a good sport about it.  I'm just glad she didn't have a heart attack.  Reagan and I were the only people under 70 in that place.  Who goes anywhere to sit down and eat that early in the morning when you don't have to?

She was just getting "good and awake"  I love that sweet little face!!

This is one of my favorite times of the day.  I usually wake them up in some crazy way.  I will either make up some funny song or act like a spider is crawling up their legs.  They love it.  Reagan is doing something so special right now.  If she is really tired, sleepy, or just wants to hear my voice, she will say "Momma, I lub you."  It is so precious.  She can be asleep in the bed, roll over, and she will say "Momma, I lub you." LOVE IT!!!

Do you need any narration of this picture?  We have some major work to do to get ready for school!!!

Reagan will wear her smocked dresses (thank you Honey), but she has to add a little "Reagan Spice".  Look at those multi-colored leopard print rain boots. Work it sister!!!

Fun Friday!!!  Movie night.  These are the best days of my life!!!  I love to snuggle up and watch whatever they want to on television.  I'm usually watching them anyway.

Almost out the door!  Puffy skirt- check   Under Armour for Grant- check  This is everyday!!!

Valentine Humor

Now, we all know that LIFE IS NOT PERFECT......even on Valentine's Day. Grant and Scott made a special trip to Dick's Sporting Goods and got me an UnderArmour running pull-over.  It was purple, just like I said I wanted.  So, later, after they gave me my special gift..... I was raising my voice at Scott. Grant ran past me, pulled on my new jacket, and said "REPO".  He is hillarious.  He just kept on about his merry little way like nothing ever happened.  Needless to say, the "discussion" I was having with Scott was over.  The humor of Grant resolved the issue.

Sew, Sew Cute!!!

Well, I have started sewing again.  One of my best friends found out she is going to have a grandchild.  Brittany and T Turner found out they are expecting.  Brittany kept Reagan for me when Mrs. Horne became too ill to take care of her due to her cancer.  She was such a blessing!!!!  I never worried for ONE MOMENT about my children when they were in her care.  She is going to be an amazing mother.  So.....I am trying to convince the "hottest Nanna"AKA Terri Mathis.....to learn to sew.  In my attempt, I brought her this cute day gown for her upcoming arrival.  Now, we have no idea what this blessing will be, so I just safety pinned the antique flowers on the top.  "T" said he wasn't sure if he knew what to think about this "girl" stuff.  He wasn't even sure if he would take the flowers off and put a blue name on it......He will learn real soon that it is so much easier to NOT HAVE TO SNAP SNAPS and Button Buttons!!!! Congratulations to the entire family on this BLESSING!!!!

Everett, Brittany, Terri, and Tyler

Brittany and "T" Turner

Reagan wanted a Valentine's Day dress, so we made this creation together. She loves the "Mormon"look.  She will say "A little longer Momma, a little longer." Now, as long as she request the skirts be longer, I will surely satisfy her wish!!!!  I hope she always wants her skirts to be "a little longer."
My sweet monkey lost his forth tooth. I love these pictures.  He is trying so hard to open his heavy little eyes.  He was so surprised to see that "Rocky" convinced the tooth fairy to let him visit Grant with his special gift... $10.00 "Rocky" left a note that said he promised he would take the tooth to the tooth fairy.  Grant also got his progress report back on Wednesday.  He received all "A's" again!!!!  What did I do in life to deserve so many blessings?

The letter taped on the wall is a prayer reminder.  I continuously forgot to say our prayers RIGHT after the kids bath.  We would all snuggle up and watch TV, and before I knew it, my babies were OUT!!! Now, Grant takes Reagan over to the paper and they read it together.  Reagan will even point to the words and say her prayer....she thinks she can read.  It is so funny to all of us.  At least she is trying.  Some random things she has prayed for include her pancakes, her puffy skirts that Aunt Lisa gave her, and her tattoos.  We try not to laugh during these morning prayers before school and at night.  I love these kids!!!! Grant will just hold the laugh in as long as he can.....his eyes get bigger and bigger as he tries to maintain composure.  The pointed eyebrows come out, and it is over........LAUGHTER!!!  This is what life is all about.
This is Reagan fixing her daddy's hair after her bath.  We have spelling words on the mirror with the dry-erase marker.  I know these are things that I will forget about if I don't write about them.  Grant always tries to cheat and sneak a peek at the words when we are practicing.  He always makes 100 on his tests though!!! Just ask him, he will tell you!!! Smartie Pants!!

Additional Unknown Facts

A few "unknown facts" that you may not know about my children are:
1.Reagan insists on wearing her shoes, ALL shoes, on the wrong feet.
2.Reagan loves to help unload the groceries at Wal-Mart.  The pictures in the pink skirt are a "start to finish" example of her helping me do this.
3.  Reagan and Grant LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to dance.  We do this WAY TO OFTEN.  The picture below is of the two of them "slow dancing" before school one morning.  SOOOOO SWEET!!
4.  Reagan has what Grant would call "a strange addiction" to Mr. Bob at Ridgecrest Baptist Church.  He is over the athletic/sport events such as Upward, etc.  Well, Reagan has entered a somewhat "shy" stage.  Mr. Bob was NOT having it.  So, to make Reagan jealous, he married Presley.  Well, that didn't last too long.  Reagan did not allow this to happen.  She was on Mr. Bob's leg like a magnet. And, Grant proved his strength to everyone with a friendly arm wrestling competition with Mr. Bob.  He is so good with the children.

A Little bit about My 2 Little Monkies

Grant and Reagan are growing so fast.  Reagan is in to all things pink, and Grant is in to UNDERArmour clothing.  He has to wear it EVERY DAY!!!!  Reagan has been obsessed with the pink cowgirl boots that Presley gave her.  She spent the day with Jackie and Presley (one Sunday afternoon) and came back a changed girl.  We always make fun of Jackie because she is SUPER cautious.  She has the telephone # for poison control memorized.  So, when Reagan woke up on Monday morning, she called me to her bathroom and said...... "Momma....look what I did."  She spent one short afternoon with "Aunt Key" and came home and line OUR TOILET with toilet paper.  I told her that this was not necessary.  It was hillarious though.

I also realized how tall Grant is getting.  His current weight is 61 pounds.  He will be 8 in about 45 days.  He is getting so big...so fast.  He loves baseball, drawing, and MAGIC.  He loves looking at optical illusions on the computer.  He is so smart.

Reagan had to dress up as a 100 year old woman for the 100th day of school.  She was not happy.  She said "Momma, I am NOT an OLD LADY, I AM A PRINCESS."  The Auburn skirt was not a part of the original outfit, but as you all know, Reagan doesn't wear pants.  She refuses!!!!  So, off we go.  One more week down.  I love this life. I thank God every day for the blessings in my life.

Just a few more Pictures

Gus Malzahn made a visit to Honeysuckle Middle School. Kamryn Melton ,one of our students, signed with Auburn.  Coach Malzahn was kind enough to come and visit us.  Kamryn's mother works at the school with us as the clerical aide.  Scott was just a little jealous!!!!
This is actually one of the few outfits that I have made Reagan that she will actually wear.  The skirts have to "twirl" a certain way in order for them to be "Reagan approved."
Jake passed on some of his old clothes to Grant.  Well, of coarse Grant (with his sense of humor) found the worst items, added a horrible hairdo, and sent Jake a text that read:   Jake, Thanks for all of the new clothes.  I love them.  Wha-bam!!!!  There were more outfits, but I couldn't hardly stop laughing long enough to take his picture.

This picture above is what we told Reagan her leg was going to look like when it started growing out (after she shaved it).  She was not happy at all about this.  She put so much lotion on her leg it wasn't funny!!!  We have to do drastic things to get little miss prissy's attention.
