Health Update on Mrs. Horne

Well~ Alisa, Poppa, and Nana went to see Dr.Barnes in Birmingham yesterday(april15). He told them that he was not going to do anymore tests, procedures, or anything else. He was doing surgery on Tuesday. Boy, I like how they get right to business. He anticipates her being in the hospital probably 5 days. Kay Wingate, a fellow school nurse and family friend, shared her recent experience with our family. She is now in remission. She used the same doctors in Birmingham, and she said that she had such a positive experience that she actually looked forward to visiting her nurse, Vickie, for her treatments. Her story has really helped us to grasp the unexpected. Again, I can't say thank you enough to everyone for their prayers and support. We are so blessed to have such great friends and family.
